Privacy Policy

Voypin lets you save places and sync them to your account. We only collect what’s needed to run the app — your email and the content you save. We do not track you, show ads, or sell your data.

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is Alptechin Yazılım Reklam Danışmanlık İthalat İhracat Ltd. Şti. (“Voypin”, “we”). Contact details are in section 11.

2. What we collect

• Account data: your email address and an encrypted password, to create and secure your account.
• Your content: the places you save — titles, links, notes, tags, photos you add, and trips — so they’re backed up and available across your devices.
• On-device usage counters: simple anonymous counters (e.g. number of saves/opens) kept only on your device to improve the experience; not linked to your identity.

We do not collect your location, contacts, advertising identifiers, browsing history, or any cross-app tracking data.

3. Why we process it & legal basis

We process your email and content to provide the service (account, cloud backup, sync, sharing). Legal bases under KVKK (Turkey) and GDPR: performance of our contract with you (providing the app) and your explicit consent, which you give when you create an account.

4. Where your data is stored (processors)

Your account and content are stored on our behalf by Supabase (database, authentication and storage hosting), acting as our data processor. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and may be stored on servers located outside your country; we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection.

5. No tracking, no ads

Voypin contains no advertising or analytics SDKs that profile you, and no third-party trackers. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes.

6. Sharing places

When you share a place or list, the details are encoded into a link that you send through your own apps (e.g. WhatsApp). Anyone with the link can view its contents.

7. Data retention

We keep your account and content for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your data is permanently removed.

8. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11 / GDPR)

You have the right to: access your data; correct it; delete your account and data; restrict or object to processing; and receive a copy of your data. You can delete your account and all data directly in the app (Account → Delete account), or contact us to exercise any right.

9. Children

Voypin is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
